GSC BOT made two important decisions at last night's meeting.
- GSC will reimburse or credit all Non-athlete's background screen cost upon approval. Simply email your approved background check to Val Mertz (valeriemertz@gci.net). All non-athlete registered members must complete the background check by February 15 to stay current. Cost is $39 for officials and coaches, and $19 for everyone else. Please visit USA Swimming website for more information.
Beginning next year, GSC will also pay all non-athlete registration fees ($45). An additional surcharge will be added to ALL swimmer's USA Swimming registration to offset these fees. We value and depend on our volunteers for a successful program!
- GSC Banquet has been moved to Saturday, May 14, 2011. There was a conflict on May 21. Time and place are To Be Determined.
